I was selected for the MenaML Winter School at KAUST, sponsored by Google DeepMind. This intensive program focused on cutting-edge Machine Learning advancements, offering a platform to collaborate with international researchers and industry experts.
We competed in a SaaS Hackathon sponsored by Fal and Lovable, focusing on GenAI in E-Commerce. Our project was ranked 6th out of hundreds of applications. We developed a specialized marketplace where users could select and integrate GenAI-generated designs, animations, and audio directly into their own products.

My research paper, accepted for the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference (EMBC) in Copenhagen, employs Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) to solve the non-dimensionalized Pennes' bioheat equation in non-homogeneous tissue. By implementing a custom framework on NVIDIA Modulus, the study benchmarks architectures like Fourier Neural Networks (FNN) and SIRENs against traditional Finite Difference Methods.
I founded ITU Perceptron, a student-led research community dedicated to advancing open-source Artificial Intelligence. Leading a team of 25+ members, I planned project strategies and handled 1-1 recruitment while coordinating interdisciplinary efforts across multiple subgroups.
To date, we have developed and released open-source Turkish AI datasets on Hugging Face, totaling over 1.5 million rows of data and surpassing 5,000 downloads. Explore our studies here: huggingface.co/ituperceptron
DATEN
I joined a collaborative initiative of 30+ contributors to co-author a book titled "Data-Driven Energy: The Future of Resilient and Sustainable Power Systems" under the supervision of Sinan Kufeoglu. My contributions focused on research and technical writing for Chapter 2 (Big Data and Advanced Analytics in Energy) and Chapter 5 (The Role of Data in Renewable Energy). The project is still ongoing, with the book currently in the publishing phase.
ITU & Penn State Collaborative Research
First meeting notes
Some initial iterations
In collaboration with Asst. Prof. Gulsah Altintas (ITU) and Assoc. Prof. Mohammed Almekkawy (Penn State), I have started working on Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs).
TEKNOFEST | Pre-Incubation Programme
In the Disaster Management Technologies category, we developed an infrastructure predictive maintenance project. Our project was selected for the Pre-Incubation Program as a finalist and competed among the top 10 teams.
NJORD Autonomous Ship Challenge
As ITU Autobee we attended the NJORD Autonomous Ship Challenge 2023 and achieved World Championship. Winning the competition and exploring Norway was a breakthrough that reshaped my perspective.
I attended the Teknofest Agricultural Unmanned Ground Vehicle competition with the ITU Autobee team, where I was part of the electronics subteam.
TEKNOFEST | University Students Research Projects Competitions
My teammate and I prepared a research report focused on autonomous vehicle communication systems. Out of hundreds of nationwide applications, our project competed as a finalist and ranked among the top 6 teams in Smart Cities and Transportation category.
